This quick pasta recipe is so easy, different and appeals to all ages and tastes
Heat 4-6 quarts boiling water over high heat with a lid, once boiling add 1 Tablespoon kosher salt (optional). Meanwhile pull all remaining ingredients together.
Cook pasta according to directions. Thin pasta will only take about 6 minutes and
regular thickness will take about 8-12 minutes.
Drain.
Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream and herbs together. If
serving hot you can heat over low heat, only a minute or so.
Toss with pasta and serve. Optional: Some fresh herbs like chopped Italian parsley looks nice and adds a fresh flavor.
Ingredient Substitutions: To lighten up the recipe you can substitute Greek yogurt for both the mayonnaise and sour cream. Keep in mind the yogurt will add a tanginess that many of us like, but that others may not.
To substitute fresh herbs for the dried, use three times as much fresh herbs than called for in the dried herbs
